Terms of service

1. Who we are

CaravanBot (caravanbot.com) is operated by TODO: company name, TODO: registered address, TODO: company registration number (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@caravanbot.com.

2. The service

CaravanBot is a bot for Silkroad Online private servers, provided as a monthly subscription. Every subscription includes the core hunt loop (auto-targeting, skills and buffs, potions, looting, pet, training area, town loop and return, auto-dismantle of drops), setup of the bot for the server you name at checkout, updates when that server changes its client or data, and support by email. Other features (quest loops, trading runs, alchemy, party play, events, custom work) are built on request, depending on what your server allows and what is technically possible. We tell you before starting if a request would cost extra.

Private servers differ. We check your server individually and cannot guarantee that the bot works on every server, or that it keeps working if the server operator changes the game or adds protections. CaravanBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by the owners of Silkroad Online or by any private server.

3. Price and payment

The subscription costs €60 per month. Payment is in Bitcoin only. At checkout we quote the EUR price in BTC at the current exchange rate; the quote is valid for 30 minutes and can be refreshed. You must send the exact amount to the address shown. We confirm payments by hand, usually within a few hours. If less than the quoted amount arrives, we ask you to pay the difference before we start. Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed; network fees are paid by the sender.

4. Term, renewal and cancellation

Each payment covers one month of service, counted from the day we hand the working bot over to you. Before the month ends we send you a renewal request; paying it extends the subscription by another month. There is no automatic charge and no contract: if you do not pay the renewal, the subscription ends at the end of the paid month. You can also cancel at any time by emailing contact@caravanbot.com. 5. Refunds

If we cannot make the bot work on your server, we refund your payment in full. Once the bot is set up and handed over to you, the month you paid for is not refunded. Refunds are paid in Bitcoin to an address you give us, for the EUR amount of your order converted at the rate on the day of the refund. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

6. Your server's rules and your responsibility

Many servers forbid bots or automation. Using a bot may break your server's rules and can lead to your account or characters being suspended or banned. You use CaravanBot at your own risk. You are responsible for checking and following the rules of the server you play on. We are not responsible for sanctions a server takes against your account, for lost items, characters or progress, or for any dispute between you and a server operator.

7. Software licence and source code

CaravanBot is based on open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You receive the source code of the version you run, and you may use, study, modify and share it under the terms of that licence. The subscription pays for our work: setup for your server, updates, custom features and support.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use CaravanBot to attack, overload or disrupt a server, to defraud other players, or for anything unlawful. We may stop supporting a subscription used this way.

9. Liability

The software is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the month in which the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you pay applies to that month. These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator is registered (TODO: confirm), without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
